Archpriest Anthony Gavalas carries Metropolitan Panteleimon's staff, as the Consecration procession begins. The procession will go three times around the outside of the church. The procession will stop three times at the front doors of the church where special prayers, with the holy relics, are recited by Metropolitan Panteleimon. Metropolitan Panteleimon begins the annointing of the Church walls with Holy Chrism - after the washing, annointing, and consecration of the Holy Altar. Twelve antimins were also blessed at the consecration.
