Confession of Faith of Those
Coming To
The Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece
I worship the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the Trinity one in essence and undivided.
I confess, together with the God-bearing Apostles and all of our Holy and God-bearing Fathers, that
I believe with certainty, and without doubt, in all of the Dogmas, the Traditions and, in general,
the Holy Teaching of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Christ.
I accept and I honor the Holy Seven Ecumenical Councils as well as the local councils and those
salvivic Dogmas which in them were dogmatized and preached by our God-bearing Fathers through the
inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
I also accept and honor the writings and, in general, the teachings of the Holy and God-bearing
Fathers of the Church of Christ, the Apostolic and Patristic Traditions, whether written or
unwritten, without addition or subtraction.
I reject and condemn whatsoever the Church of Christ rejects and condemns, and all of the heresies
and schisms of ancient times up until today, including that of the New Calendarists which are
opposed to the decisions of the Pan-Orthodox Councils of the 16th century, and that of
anti-Christian Ecumenism.
I confess that I abandon forever the schismatic group of the so-called Bishop _____(Name)____, and
that I come unto the Church of Christ under the spiritual jurisdiction of the Holy Synod of the
Church of the Genuine Orthodox Christians of Greece under the Presidency of His Beatitude Archbishop
Nicholas, which keeps whole and without change the Apostolic Faith and Apostolic Succession, and
which, in Greece, is the organic continuity of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
I declare that I will not have any further spiritual or ecclesiastical communion or relation with
any of the above mentioned or other schismatic, parasynagogic, or heretical persons or groups, and I
promise that, through grace, I will keep and maintain this sacred confession unto my last breath,
through the intercessions of the Theotokos and all the saints. Amen.
