The Holy Synod of the Genuine Orthodox Church


of Greece, is beginning to establish a presence in the United States of America. As more people become aware of the Traditional Greek Orthodox Church; as the missinformation and lack of knowledge concerning the GOC is dispelled; as the Grace of God continues to bless the expositors of the truth; the parishes and missions listed on this web page will, through the Grace of God,  increase in size and numbers.

All of the parishes and missions listed here ardently strive to uphold the traditions and teachings of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church of Christ - the Holy Orthodox Church. Of course, being fallen human beings, we fall short of the glory of God and there will be human mistakes; however, we fervently pray God will grant us true discernment with respect to the Canon Laws, the Traditions, and the Dogmas entrusted to the Great Church of Christ.

None of the following parishes and missions are a part of world orthodoxy. They are not involved in the ecumenical movement. They remain on the "old (Julian) calendar," and they hold open arms to anyone who seeks to dedicate his life to Christ, working out his salvation in obedience to true bishops and by being part of a parish, or mission, wherein he may save his immortal soul. Please remember, adhering to the old calendar is no guarantee of Orthodoxy. The equation is: Julian (old) Calendar + Holy Tradition + The Seven Ecumenical Councils + the Holy Scriptures + the Holy Fathers = Holy Orthodoxy. Today, world orthodoxy is abandoning, more and more, one or more of the "parts" which make up this equation.
